SNOW!!

I love snow, I like to play in it with my neice and my cousins. We hook a sled to a tractor and go for hours or until we cant feel our toes or fingers anymore. I love fall and summer to but winter brings christmas and new years and snow. My family likes to take our farm truck out in the old hay field and take turns wipping donuts in the truck. This is why i like snow and winter, it really brings out the fun in the holiday season.

What are you thankful for? Iam thankful for my family and friends and all the people who keep me going when I have bad days. Iam thankful for my animals, my cows that dont always stay in the pasture where they belong, my dog who likes to lick people in the face. I am thankful for everything that is around me, because without it , I wouldnt be who I am today.

Cold Weather!! Brrr!

Cold weather doesnt really bother me. Yea when i get cold it kind of stinks but when I start moving again I get warm. My favorite time of the year would probably have to be summer and fall. Summer I like picking sweetcorn and showing my cattle. Fall I love riding in the tractor and picking corn and watching the leaves change color. I like all kinds of weather warm or cold.

My Weekend

Friday I worked, and went to my boyfriends house. Saturday I worked and my friend came over and helped do chores and watched movies and spent the night. Sunday i went to church and then lunch with my family and then shopping, then went horse back riding with a bunch of friends. Then did chores helped mom and went to bed. That was my exciting weekend!!

High School Life!

When your in high school you don't stop to think about what the person next, around, or behind you is thinking, or even worrying about. In some cases you might know but usually you don't pay attention. You also don't bother to pay attention to the clothing of people around you either. Blue jeans and boots, or sweat pants and flip flops or black dress pants and high heels. We all are different from each other. Next time you walk down the hallway pay attention to some of these things, they might make you laugh or maybe even feel bad. Start noticing your surroundings!

Technology!!!!!

Technology has had its goods and bads in my life. Good thing are... cell phones, now they can also be a bad thing. Like if you dont answer your moms call at 1 am and you are suppose to be home at 12, then tat could be bad. Good thing is that you can call anyone anywhere in the world. Computers are a biggy. We use computers everyday for school and businesses use them as well. Computers can also crash losing all of your information in a big ball of wires on your desk. So Technology has its ups and downs !

One Wish

My one wish in this world, would be that all of my friends dreams come true. That they all have wonderful lives and find there perfect match. I want all of them to lives that they dream of now. I want them to find there dream jobs. I want all of this because I see the problems older people are hving now and I dont want them to have to go through that, and be missrable. That is my one wish.

Own it

I cant live without my truck. It gets me to where I need to go and gets me there safely. I like my truck alot, it has a good rumble to it when you start it up. It is a white Dodge, it has a 318 engine and I love it. It isnt my dream truck but she gets the job done .

The decision of America

America has put there decision to work. Although we all may or may not agree with the votes. We will have to deal and make due and compromise to the decision that our fellow American have made. America wanted change, and he (Barack Obama) said he is going to change. So America awaits the change we all were promised. Last night made history, it was the biggest campaign in the history of the USA. Let the journey begin!

Why is election day important?

Election day is important to millions of American because we are choosing a leader for our nation. The person who will make our decisons and keep us safe. People care who is going to make all of those major executive decisions for us. The president of the United States is one the biggest decsions that American people make, so why shouldnt it be important to us?

Americas Dependancy on foreign oil

America is very dependant on foriegn oil. We dont know how to run our vehicles with out oil. It is very important and America uses it in good and bad ways. America's dependence on oil is a threat to our national security and our economy. Growing demand and shrinking domestic production means America is importing more and more oil each year - much of it from the world's most unfriendly or unstable regions.
We spend more than $200,000 per minute -- $13 million per hour -- on foreign oil, and more than $25 billion a year on Persian Gulf imports alone. These are some of the studies that the NRDC have shown. That is alot but these farmers need the oil to keep America alive and our food sources replenished. But that doesnt mean some of these car sales men couldnt back off selling these high oil using cars, we know they wont but it might help.
Niageria gives Amercia 11% of its oil. Niageria produces 2.2 million barrels of oil per day. They still only give us 11%.
America is very dependant, but we do need the oil for our facotories and farmers. We cant just cut the entires oil consupmtion in half ,its not that easy. America has to step up and take charge of themselves. If every person in the entire U.S. would cut back on there own oil consumption then we might make a differnce.
The war also needs oil to run the trucks tanks and planes. We are in a war so therefor we are bound to be short on funds and runing in debt. We need the oil in the middle east which is where the war is occuring. Oil prices in America is Americas Achilles' heel. Other countries are watching the U.S. use this oil and they are learning from our mistakes. We need to take a stand for our own oil usings and control it better.
